Retain Visitors By Sticking to a Topic Print E-mail

To develop a successful blog, decide on a topic, and stick to it.

I think it’s best to find a niche topic. Let’s say you want to write about billiards. Great!

Now, make sure you write about billiards. If your blog is about billiards, visitors do not want to come to your site to be told about what you had for lunch yesterday, unless of course it has something to do with billiards.

By sticking to a topic, credibility is gained. Your appearance as a professional of your topic will be elevated.

If you want to write about your lunch, start another blog that deals with lunch.

With a blog, do not be a jack of all trades. Be a master of your field.
